The architect, Ragnar Östberg, changed his mind about the color of the walls when he saw the beautiful red bricks, after the hall was finished. The hall is suitable for banquets, prize ceremonies, and concerts.
The Blue Hall is 1500 m².
Number of guests
The Blue Hall can fit a maximum of 1200 people. If you are leasing both the Blue hall and the Golden hall together, the maximum capacity is 1200 guests.
Rectangular tables: 1 200 people
Rectangular tables placed inside the row of pillars: 900 people
Round tables: 480 people
Standing buffet: 1 000 people
Seated buffet: 800 people
Mix and mingle parties: 1 200 people
Parquet seating: 1 188 people
Grand piano and organ
There is a Steinway grand piano Model B in the Blue Hall, as well as the largest organ in Nothern Europe. Both can be leased for events. Only trained organists are allowed to play the organ.
